I have fought the good fight, I have finished
the race,
I have kept the faith.
2 Timothy 4:7 (NIV)
Excerpt from the Forward:
"Life isn’t fair, and we don’t always get to
choose the battles we will fight or the circumstances we will face. But for the
child of God, victory is always assured. And though even victory does not always
come in the form we might desire, in Ben’s case it did. And we are eternally
grateful to our loving heavenly Father; who chose to hear the cries of our heart
and graciously grant our request for Ben’s healing."

About the Author:
My name is Ben Parrish. I am 30 years old and
was born and raised in Lynchburg, VA. I have a beautiful wife, Julie, and a
precious 1 year old daughter, Lee. I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Disease in
February 2007. The initial news sent shockwaves through my family. But what
Satan meant for death and destruction, God turned around to bring peace and
victory.
My intent at first was to try to mass publish my testimony in an attempt to get
it to as many people as might want to read it or need to hear it. Because I am
not a known author, or even a known anybody, having my story accepted for
publication would not be easy. Add to the mix that material profits, royalties,
or any other form of compensation was not a goal, it was very easy to accept the
suggestions of those whom I had asked for assistance that it might be best to
post it online and give it away. After all, it's ministry and inspiration
purposed.
So, here it is. Enjoy the story. I'm certain you'll be blessed.
